The KVM Console to USB Laptop adapter allows any USB-equipped laptop to connect to a "headless" server and emulates the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Perfect for any server, PC, ATM, or kiosk in need of maintenance, this simple access and control means total portability for mobile administrators and repair technicians. Most servers do not require additional accessories, and there is no server-side software to install. Power comes from the server-side connection, and the adapter allows for access to the BIOS post and the ability to handle full configuration of the attached machine. Any need for an unwieldy monitor, keyboard, and mouse solution is eliminated.

Connectors

Host interface: One USB Mini Type A Female port on unit, one six foot USB Type A male to USB Mini Type A male host cable.
- Console interface: One male 15 pin HD with 12 inch (305 millimeters) cable connected from unit, one male USB Type A with 15 inch (381 millimeters) cable connected from unit, One male 6 pin miniDIN adapter - provides PS/2 keyboard access to older systems. Does not support PS/2 mouse.

Max video resolution: 1920x1200 @ 60 Hz or 1600x1200 @ 75 Hz.
Video scaling modes: any scale from 6 to 100% (in 6.25% steps), full screen mode (uses all pixels of your laptop), maximized mode (laptop task bar is accessible).
Resize video just by resizing window. Entire video picture is always visible-no scroll bars ever.
Video adjustments: fine position control (image centering), sample phase (sharpness), video noise filtering controls.
Auto image centering adjustment for 4x3 images on a wide screen display.
Manual video adjustments allow you to control the picture position, sharpness and image noise. This helps to manage performance.
Manual video override adjustments allows it to work with legacy and industrial devices where other portable consoles don't.
